Job Description

As a ThinkParQ software developer for BeeGFS, you have the important job of shaping the future of BeeGFS and thus the future of high performance storage worldwide:

  • Analyze customer requirements for performance-critical systems and for the years ahead to develop features that regularly exceed customer expectations
  • Invent efficient algorithms and solutions to problems that the rest of the world could not solve efficiently
  • Optimize BeeGFS for future hardware generations and different platforms
  • Visit conferences and workshops to learn and to show your great work to the community
  • Have a lot of fun as you see that your work enables our customers to solve their tough problems and helps to steadily grow the BeeGFS community around the globe

Required and Desirable Skills

  • Experience in C/C++ and other common programming and scripting languages
  • Familiar with object oriented software design and design patterns
  • Experience in Linux and/or Windows software development
  • Experience with multithreaded programming and distributed software design
  • Experience with Linux kernel development is an advantage
  • Experience with Linux system management and Linux cluster management is an advantage
  • You should be fluent in English and German
  • The quality of your work needs to be of utmost importance to you to make sure that our users can rely on our software for their business critical applications

You will be working primarily in our office in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
